1. Overview of HOW TO MAKE SHIFT HAPPEN

1.1. HOW TO MAKE SHIFT HAPPEN is an online coaching business that offers online programmes to professional adults and/or business owners with ADHD who need help in managing their work challenges.

1.2. HOW TO MAKE SHIFT HAPPEN was designed to provide high quality, evidence-based content to these ADHD adults.

1.3. HOW TO MAKE SHIFT HAPPEN may offer a range of courses. Its first two courses are CASS DECODED and ADHD LIKE A BOSS.

2. Structure of ADHD LIKE A BOSS

2.1. ADHD LIKE A BOSS is a six-week online programme that runs over seven weeks (with one week’s break in the middle of the course) comprising ninety minutes of live online content training and a live sixty-minute Q&A session via Zoom Workplace, each week. These will be recorded for later access.

2.2. There will be a temporary community forum exclusively for participants of the course that runs for the duration of the total seven-week period.

2.3. Participants will complete self-reflection questionnaires and worksheets during each module, emailed to them on the day of the training.

2.4. Online content (modules) will be made available each week on an assigned online student portal for which participants will be given exclusive access.

3. Structure of CASS DECODED

3.1. CASS DECODED is a set of three pre-recorded mini modules.

3.2. Participants will be emailed all three modules upon signing up and can watch the modules at their own pace as well as complete an accompanying optional worksheet: CASS Converter.

4. Relationship with HOW TO MAKE SHIFT HAPPEN

4.1. HOW TO MAKE SHIFT HAPPEN is operated by Dr Collaros, who is a registered psychologist. 

4.2. While Dr Collaros is a registered psychologist, the HOW TO MAKE SHIFT HAPPEN business and its online courses are not a psychology service. 

4.3. By consenting to participate in any of the HOW TO MAKE SHIFT HAPPEN coaching programmes, participants acknowledge that they are participating in a coaching programme and are not receiving psychological services from Dr Collaros. 

4.4. To avoid any potential conflicts of interest arising, clients of Dr Collaros cannot be accepted as participants in the ADHD LIKE A BOSS coaching programme within at least two years of cessation of psychological services provided by Dr Collaros (and that will only be permitted as discerned on a case by case basis).

4.5. Similarly, participants in the ADHD LIKE A BOSS coaching programme cannot be accepted as clients of Dr Collaros within a minimum of six months of completion of the ADHD LIKE A BOSS coaching programme (and that will only be permitted as discerned on a case by case basis). 

4.6. Any requests for cross-referral or registration between former clients of Dr Collaros and HOW TO MAKE SHIFT HAPPEN will be assessed on a case by case basis, and will only be accepted at Dr Collaros’s discretion, depending on the individual circumstances. 

4.7. If in the course of participating in the HOW TO MAKE SHIFT HAPPEN coaching programmes, issues arise which in Dr Collaros’ professional opinion are beyond the scope of the coaching relationship, a participant may be advised to see their GP and obtain a referral to consult with an appropriate clinician. 

4.8. Dr Collaros may at any time and in her sole discretion, terminate a participant’s registration in the HOW TO MAKE SHIFT HAPPEN coaching programmes if Dr Collaros considers it appropriate to do so. In the event of termination of a participant’s registration in the HOW TO MAKE SHIFT HAPPEN coaching programmes on this basis, a partial refund of the participant’s registration fees may be provided. 

5. Community Forum

5.1. As part of the ADHD LIKE A BOSS programme, a temporary community forum will be provided. The forum is intended to provide participants with a safe space to respectfully discuss challenges, strategies and ways to implement advice given through the programme. It is not intended to be used for “trauma-dumping”, emergencies, unsolicited advice or disrespectful posts.

5.2. It is a requirement of your engagement in the ADHD LIKE A BOSS programme that any use of the community forum is in accordance with these terms and conditions, and any terms and conditions or requirements set out by HOW TO MAKE SHIFT HAPPEN on the forum’s website.

5.3. It is a requirement of your engagement in the ADHD LIKE A BOSS programme that when engaging in the Community Forum, you:

5.3.1. Act in a respectful manner towards all people, including participants, moderators, and external third parties.

5.3.2. Do not use the forum for emergencies.

5.3.3. Respect the privacy and boundaries of other users.

5.3.4. Do not use the forum for your own commercial purposes.

5.3.5. Do not use the forum to promote medical or clinical treatments, other than to the extent that you offer recommendations to other participants to engage with appropriate treating practitioners or health services. This is to ensure that any health advice that participants receive is obtained from an appropriately qualified health practitioner.

5.4. Unless posted by Dr Collaros or a staff member of HOW TO MAKE SHIFT HAPPEN, HOW TO MAKE SHIFT HAPPEN does not endorse any post on the forum, and does not warrant that posts made by others are accurate, safe, or appropriate for your situation.

5.5. A breach of this clause may be grounds for your removal from the ADHD LIKE A BOSS programme. If that occurs, you may not receive a refund for any incomplete part of the course.

5.6. You are responsible for your own use of the forum, including any harm that is caused from following advice of others, following links, or any other steps you may take in respect of any posts on the forum.

5.7. To the extent permitted by law, HOW TO MAKE SHIFT HAPPEN disclaims any and all responsibility for loss or damage that may arise from a participant’s use of the forum.

5.8. You acknowledge that HOW TO MAKE SHIFT HAPPEN may delete posts it considers to be in breach of these requirements or it considers are otherwise inappropriate, and may restrict your access to the forum if in its sole discretion it considers it appropriate to do so. Restriction to the forum on this basis does not entitle you to any refund.

6. Waiver and Indemnity

6.1. In participating in one of HOW TO MAKE SHIFT HAPPEN’s programmes, you agree that to the extent permitted by law, HOW TO MAKE SHIFT HAPPEN, Dr Debbie Collaros, and others involved in the delivery of the programmes are not liable for any loss or damage that you may suffer as a result of your involvement in the programmes.

6.2. You also agree that should you cause loss or damage to someone else through your involvement in the courses, including in relation to your use of the online forum or in group calls, you agree to indemnify HOW TO MAKE SHIFT HAPPEN for any loss, damage or other compensation or monetary amount that may be awarded against HOW TO MAKE SHIFT HAPPEN.

7. Privacy and Disclosure of Personal Information

7.1. As part of your participation in the programmes, HOW TO MAKE SHIFT HAPPEN needs to collect and record information from you.

7.2. We enclose a copy of our Privacy Policy, which you are required to read. By participating in the programme, you acknowledge that you have read and understood the Privacy Policy.

7.2.1. While HOW TO MAKE SHIFT HAPPEN takes reasonable steps to protect your personal information and uses reputable technology platforms, no method of electronic communication or internet transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

7.3. Also enclosed is a copy of our:

7.3.1. Participant Information Sheet for ADHD LIKE A BOSS; and

7.3.2. Description of ADHD LIKE A BOSS, including what to expect from us and our expectations of you as a participant.

8. Technology Requirements

8.1. The CASS Decoded Mini Course is delivered electronically via email and consists of three pre-recorded video modules. You are responsible for ensuring you have a valid email address, a reliable internet connection, and a computer, tablet or smartphone capable of accessing the course content. Where downloadable video files are provided, you may download them to your personal device for offline viewing. All course materials are provided for your personal use only and must not be shared, copied, reproduced, distributed or made available to any other person.

8.2. ADHD LIKE A BOSS is provided online through our website portal and by videoconferencing. You are responsible for ensuring you have a reliable internet connection and suitable equipment, including a computer, tablet or smartphone with a camera, microphone and speakers, together with any software or technology required to access the online content and participate in live videoconferencing workshops. You are responsible for any associated costs.

8.3. To participate effectively in ADHD LIKE A BOSS, you will need access to a computer, tablet or smartphone with a camera, microphone and speakers, together with a private room or quiet space suitable for participating in live online workshops.

8.4. We are not responsible for delays, interruptions or inability to access the course arising from your internet connection, equipment, software, email provider or other technology outside our reasonable control.

9. Conditions of Purchase and Intellectual Property

9.1. HOW TO MAKE SHIFT HAPPEN’s website, its HOW TO MAKE SHIFT HAPPEN coaching programmes and all content provided within, is the intellectual property of HOW TO MAKE SHIFT HAPPEN.

9.2. The reproduction, exploitation, redistribution or use of all or part of any visual, auditory or software element or document for HOW TO MAKE SHIFT HAPPEN’s website or the HOW TO MAKE SHIFT HAPPEN programmes is prohibited.

9.3. Any use of any content produced or provided by HOW TO MAKE SHIFT HAPPEN which is in breach of these terms and conditions may cause HOW TO MAKE SHIFT HAPPEN loss or damage. HOW TO MAKE SHIFT HAPPEN reserves the right to take appropriate action in respect of any such use of its content, including but not limited to the bringing of proceedings to prevent misuse and to compensate for loss or damage.

10. Fees

10.1. The cost of the three module CASS DECODED mini course is $37.

10.2. The cost of the six week ADHD LIKE A BOSS course, run over seven weeks, is $1297.

11. Cancellation and Refund Policy

11.1. HOW TO MAKE SHIFT HAPPEN will grant a refund of the registration fee paid by any participant, within 72 hours prior to the commencement date of ADHD LIKE A BOSS.

11.2. After the commencement of the ADHD LIKE A BOSS course, full or partial refund of the registration fee will be granted at the sole discretion of HOW TO MAKE SHIFT HAPPEN, and ordinarily only in circumstances where a participant’s registration is terminated by HOW TO MAKE SHIFT HAPPEN in accordance with the terms of Part 4.

12. Consent to Participation in Course Programmes

12.1. I confirm that I have read and understood the information in this document about HOW TO MAKE SHIFT HAPPEN and I acknowledge the following:

12.1.1. HOW TO MAKE SHIFT HAPPEN is a coaching service. Although programmes are delivered by Dr Collaros who is a registered psychologist, this is not a psychological service and I will not be receiving psychological services, treatment advice or therapy in the course of my participating in ADHD LIKE A BOSS;

12.1.2. For the ADHD LIKE A BOSS coaching programme, I am not an existing client of Dr Collaros and I have not previously accessed psychological services provided by Dr Collaros within the last two years;

12.1.3. As a result of my participation in ADHD LIKE A BOSS, I am precluded from accessing psychological services provided by Dr Collaros for a minimum period of six months from the completion of ADHD LIKE A BOSS;

12.1.4. I have read and understood the HOW TO MAKE SHIFT HAPPEN Coaching Privacy Policy.

I agree to the above conditions for coaching services to be provided to me by HOW TO MAKE SHIFT HAPPEN.
